Primary Goal: Achieve top rankings for high-converting keywords like “brzi krediti” (quick loans) and increase qualified leads.


The Challenge

Before we started, this company was not ranking high enough in search engine results for its most important commercial keywords. Here’s what we discovered:

  • They weren’t ranking high enough (positions 8+) for transactional keywords like “brzi krediti.”
  • Many keywords were being picked up by irrelevant pages (e.g., WordPress tag pages – */tag/*).
  • Their existing commercial pages lacked proper on-page optimization.
  • Several technical issues were holding them back from SEO success.

Despite offering one of the fastest approval times in the industry and a clean application process, this company simply wasn’t getting in front of the right audience on Google.

On-Page Optimization

We optimized existing and new pages with:

  • Relevant meta titles and descriptions including semantically related keywords
  • Clean page structures with proper H1–H3 heading usage
  • Keyword-rich alt text and image filenames for better image SEO

Despite design limitations (no permission to update blog or archive templates), our content structure did the heavy lifting.


Technical Fixes

We addressed several technical SEO issues:

  • Fixed broken links and crawl errors
  • Resolved issues with missing or incorrect canonical tags
  • Ensured better site crawlability
  • Optimized image sizes and compression for faster load times
  • We added and optimized structured data (Schema markup)
  • Created a clean XML sitemap and submitted it via Google Search Console
  • Set proper canonical tags to avoid duplicate content issues

Backlinks & Authority Building

To strengthen website’s authority and boost keyword rankings, we built a total of 20 high-quality backlinks through guest posting.

  • Each backlink was placed on reputable, non-spammy local websites with real organic traffic, ensuring powerful link equity and long-term credibility.
  • We wrote all guest post content ourselves, focusing on informative, contextually relevant articles that naturally supported our target page – primarily the homepage, which was central to most of the main keyword targets.
  • To avoid over-optimization, we carefully varied the anchor texts, targeting a mix of exact match, partial match and related anchor texts. This helped boost a range of keywords while maintaining a natural backlink profile.

These backlinks played a crucial role in building topical authority and helped the homepage climb to the #1 position for multiple high-intent keywords, including “brzi krediti” and its variations.
