The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development, including theme and plugin development, as well as experience with front-end technologies. The WordPress Developer will collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create, maintain, and optimize our website and related digital platforms.
💼 Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements and specifications, with a focus on Elementor compatibility and optimization.
- Utilize Elementor to create responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites, including custom layouts, templates, and widgets.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast page load times, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues and errors.
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and security checks.
- Stay current with the latest WordPress features, best practices, and security updates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices and improve website visibility.
- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.
📚 Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Demonstrated experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Knowledge of WordPress coding standards, best practices, and security measures.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques, including on-page optimization and schema markup.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and CSS pre-processors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, such as caching, minification, and image optimization.
